Race Reports

4/18/04: Lowe's Knows (and Treats) Phil Well.

Phil Clark Finished 5th out of 15 in the EasyCare 100, an attrition-filled race. This is the first top-5 of his ASRA career, filled with bad luck. It also gives him a boost in the points, because he missed the Thompson race. More updates soon.

4/6/04: Pro Cup Scheme Released.

Phil Clark will drive a limited seasom in the Pro Cup Circuit, when he makes it up there. Sponsor will be Dutch Boy Paints. He will also run the red-and-white "The Pantry" car in Thompson. More updates soon.

3/2704: Updates.

The Hartz Corporation with their company, Wardley Fish Food, will be an associate sponsor on the #21 N3 entry. "We're happy, they wanted to come to the Sim Racing scene in a big way, I'm glad they chose our team", said Phil Clark, driver of the multi. Speaking of Phil,  he WILL be racing at Nashville today, problems are fixed, and no sub will be needed.

3/27/04: Computer Troubles, Need Sub.

Phil Clark won't be at Nashville this weekend due to computer problems. He needs a sub. On AIM, IM MoisesAlouFan if you want to sub for Phil.

3/20/04 Start and Park? Yea Right.

In tradition of strong race car drivers, Phil Clark raced at Nashville today. He got his best qualifying run of his career by starting on the outside of the front row, in 2nd. The car hung with the leaders on short runs, but on longer runs, the car was too tight. On the 1st caution, a weird situation happened when the #01 of Frankie Stickley got booted out of his game and blocked Phil's pit stall. It put both drivers a couple laps down from the leaders. "That's computers for ya, we'll get them next time", Phil would say. He finished 8th out of 13th, 5 laps off the pace, after being involved in 2 other accidents throughout the day. "I can't wait til next week, Nashville has officially become one of my favorite tracks".

3/20/04: No Nashville for Phil.

Phil feels really sick today and won't run the race. He will start and park the truck. More news and stuff to come later.

3/17/04: Connection problems force early exit for #7 team.

LAS VEGAS, NV - "Connection Problems", was all Phil could say after the Roadrunner(TM) cable connection gave out on lap 17. "I guess they were doing matinence and I got the bad end of the deal". Phil settled for a 14th-place finish. "Time to get Comcast, I guess", Phil laughed jokingly. The team heads to Nashville for the next two weeks, wanting that Gibson guitar. "Thanks to one of my sponsors, Gibson, for supplying the guitar for the race."

3/14/04: Jenkins and Jenkins.

Jenkins and Jenkins, like what they have done to be part of NASCAr, will be part of the ASRA as well. They are going to be on the Rear Decklid of the #7 car.

3/13/04: Project ALS at Vegas.

Phil Clark will drive a special Project ALS paint scheme at Las Vegas.

3/2/04: Racing stuff (6th at Daytona!). KOA Campgrounds and Brandsoftheworld.com announcement.

Phil Clark in the first race of the 2004 racing season finished 6th. A good start to a great season. Drew McDaniel ahd other commitments during the weekend and couldn't race. He's going to run a limited schedule in the #2 BOWFLEX/Maytag Ford, as soon as he gets the game. KOA Campgrounds have announced to be the sponsor of the new #21 N3 entry, being driven by Phil Clark. GFS Marketplace and 1-800-GO-RVING are associates. brandsoftheworld.com (and all their associates, even though the logos aren't gonna be on tha cars) are also new associates of the team. Phil isn't going to be here for the truck race this weekend, so we are working out a substitute driver deal as of right now. But he's going to be in the car race. New website coming soon. Check back later for updates.

2/17/04: News.

Drew McDaniel will only run a limited schedule, depending on his schdule for swimming, baseball, and etc, and this site will probably move to a all-new updated site soon. That's all for now, not much has changed since the end of the Winter Season, preparing the cars, etc. etc.

1/28/04: Hey. Some Stuff.

Brands of The World, and their associates (all the logos on their site, by the way, they aren't gonna be featured on the car, just the Brands Of The World logo), become major associates of the #7 N2002 entry. The company was derived from Logotype Free, which merged with other logo sites to make a huge huge logo site. Also, Schwan's will be an associate of the new #21 Toyota, still needing a driver. Join Long Gone Racin' today.

1/24/04: Drivers needed for 2004, for N2003, N2002 and N3. And Some Announcements as Well.

Long Gone Racin' Needs N2003, N2002 and N3 Drivers! 2 N3 drivers and 2 N2002 Drivers. "We're planning on getting some new engine guys, because they just won't stop blowing up.", said team owner Tony Burbatt. Phil was unhappy also. "We definitely had a chance for a top-10 finish, or even a top-5. My luck will change next year." His luck will defnitely will change, as the team has new equipment for the 2004 season, The team might switch to Chevys in 2004.

Teamate for Long Gone Racin?

We are currently looking for a teamate so we can field a possible second ride for the race team. We might have one, if Phil's friend Drew can get Nascar Racing 2002 Edition.
